Add-ons
From File to Finished Master
Every master follows a rigorous workflow to ensure production-ready quality.
Design & Model
Each die is precision-modeled with exact geometry, balanced weight distribution, and your chosen font or symbols.
SLA Print
Printed on the Formlabs 4B at 25-micron layers — 2× finer than consumer MSLA printers. Formlabs' validated resin profiles eliminate guesswork and ensure repeatable accuracy every batch.
Post-Processing
UV cured, support marks removed, wet-sanded through progressive grits, and polished to a smooth finish.
Quality Check
Float-tested for balance, inspected under magnification, and measured with digital calipers for dimensional accuracy.
Built for Production
Every master is engineered to make your mold-making process effortless.
25μm Resolution
The Formlabs 4B prints at 25-micron layers — 2× finer than consumer MSLA printers like the Elegoo Saturn or Anycubic Photon. Layer lines are invisible and won't transfer to your silicone molds.
No Cure Inhibition
Formlabs resins are compatible with platinum-cure silicone. Unlike consumer SLA resins that can poison your silicone and prevent curing, our masters go straight into your mold — no sealer, no barrier coat, no wasted material.
±0.05mm Tolerance
Every die is measured with digital calipers and float-tested for balance. Formlabs' validated profiles deliver 4× the dimensional accuracy of consumer printers (±0.05mm vs ±0.2mm).
Mold-Ready Finish
UV cured, support marks removed, wet-sanded through progressive grits, and polished. Ready to press into platinum-cure silicone straight out of the box.
30+ Font Options

The Person Behind the Dice
Alamo Crafting Forge is a one-person operation built on a simple belief: dice makers deserve masters that actually work the first time. No cure inhibition surprises, no visible layer lines, no wasted silicone.
I started making dice masters after getting frustrated with consumer-grade prints that kept poisoning my platinum-cure silicone. After switching to a Formlabs 4B and dialing in the workflow, I realized other makers were dealing with the same problems — so I started offering masters to the community.
Every set that leaves my bench is printed, post-processed, and inspected by me personally. I don't outsource, and I don't cut corners. If a master doesn't pass my QC, I reprint it — no questions asked.

Common Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering dice masters.
What exactly is a dice master?
A dice master is a precision-crafted original die used to create silicone molds. You pour silicone around the master, remove it once cured, and then cast as many resin copies as you need. Our masters are printed at 25-micron resolution for production-ready detail.
What resins do you offer?
We print with Formlabs Grey Pro and Clear resin. Grey Pro is our go-to for general master work — excellent detail, low shrinkage, and a smooth finish. Clear is ideal if you want to visually inspect your master for internal curing quality. Both are compatible with platinum-cure silicone out of the box — no barrier coating required.
How long does an order take?
It depends on the processing level you choose. Full processing (sanded & polished) ships in 5–7 business days. Semi processing (supports removed) ships in 3–5 days. No processing (raw print) ships in 2–4 days. Rush orders (+$30) cut each of those roughly in half. We'll confirm your exact timeline when we respond to your quote.
Can I use my own font or logo?
Yes. Choose from our 30+ built-in fonts, or upload your own .ttf/.otf file. Logo engraving replaces the highest face number with your custom design — just attach your vector file (SVG, AI, or PDF) when replying to the quote email.
Are the masters balanced?
Every master is float-tested for balance and measured with digital calipers for dimensional accuracy (±0.05mm tolerance). If a master doesn't pass QC, we reprint it at no charge.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide via USPS. Domestic orders typically arrive in 3–5 days, international in 7–14 days. Tracking is included with every order.
Why Formlabs instead of a consumer printer?
Consumer MSLA printers (Elegoo, Anycubic, Phrozen) can produce decent dice, but Formlabs is purpose-built for production masters. Three reasons: First, Formlabs resins don't cause cure inhibition with platinum-cure silicone — consumer resins often poison your silicone, forcing you to seal the master or make a two-stage mold. Second, the Formlabs 4B prints at 25μm layers with ±0.05mm tolerance — consumer printers typically achieve 50μm and ±0.2mm, which matters for balanced dice. Third, Formlabs' validated material profiles mean we get the same result every batch — no manual exposure tuning, no failed prints eating your timeline.
What if I'm not happy with my order?
We stand behind our work. If your masters have print defects or don't match the agreed specifications, we'll reprint or refund. Contact us within 14 days of delivery.
